What is this product?

A set of 5 pairs of seamless period pants WUKA made carefully of re-purposed fabric (leftover fabric from the production of clothes for the fast fashion industry that would otherwise be discarded in landfill). What is the absorbing capacity of these Re-Purposed Period Pants?

15 ml or 2-3 tampons. You can wear them for up to 8 hours.

What material are the WUKA Re-Purposed Period Pants made of?

Recycled nylon. The reason for that is WUKA’s commitment to reduce the discarding of leftover fabric after garment production, a practice inspired by the circular economy principles. These period pants are with slightly higher waist, following the curves of the female body. They contain an extra breathable layer of fabric at the bottom for maximum protection.

How does one take good care of the Re-Purposed Period Pants WUKA?

We recommend washing them before first use. After use you can rinse them with cold water and natural soap (we love the Marseille one) before handwashing or machine washing them at no more than 40 degrees, cold wash with dark colours. Do not tumble-dry, iron or bleach them, fabric softener is also not recommended. Drying takes between 1-2 days depending on the weather temperature, make sure that the pants have gone through a full spin if machine washed to save drying time.

What sizes are these WUKA Period Pants available in?

We have XS, S, M, L, XL and XXL at the moment. Please check the size guide to see which one would be best for you. Sizes are based on your hip line (measure the line of the area below your belly, from bone to bone as shown on the last photo where it says “HIP LINE”. After measuring, refer to the size chart to determine the best size for you based on your hip line.
